£5000 Budget Please spec me a PC

Look, I've told you this already. I was on holiday in Germany, I had no idea I'd just been invited to a bondage dungeon and left almost immediately.

The guy in leather in the corner chained to the wall still haunts me to this day.

I mean, this would reign true, if you hadn't whilingly posed for photos with said gent, bragged about it on your OnlyFans, then inboxed me links to the behind the scenes premium content!

Are we all comfortable recommending Crucial considering their pull away from consumer markets?

I saw a great deal on a crucial SSD last night but backed out, was in not sure how their warranty will stand up in the future

If they run out of stock (or just want to be nasty) they'll give you a refund/partial refund which may or may not be helpful to get it replaced.

If its SSD then they'll still be able to supply a replacement but it won't be the same spec. For example you might get a SSD which has higher temperature/TBW limits but marginally lower performance.

AI might be constraining DDR5 memory supply as manufacturers retool but SSD memory fab isn't changing in the same way so the spike on SSD prices is going to be a lot shorter.

Are my eyes seeing things!!!!

£600 for that RAM!! I got the 6000MHz version back in March for £200. I know the price of RAM is extortionate at the minute but I would never pay that much for RAM.
I thought I was paying a lot at £300 for 96gb a year ago for one my rigs lol....

I was thinking of upgrading next year but at the rate things are going my entire planned budget might not be able to buy 128gb ram like I need for the machine I'm upgrading lol... it's already 1000 for 64gb looking at the first few posts.

These prices can't be doing OCUK any good either, people just won't be buying upgrades etc.

tried to spend it all

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £4,999.52 (includes delivery: £0.00)
