My question would be, what are you missing in the G2?
I still have a B7, I can’t see the point in replacing it as it works fine, as it did the day I bought it.
I don’t know really, looking for a better picture quality.
In what sense? They’re both 4K.
So are £200 Bush LCD 4K TV's
Slightly newer gen OLED from OLED won't be any difference
Bigger upgrade would be using 4K BD player, better sound system etc.
Definitely worth it, G5 has a brighter more resistant panel, with better colour reproduction and the difference between the processing is massive.Hi,
Is Upgrading from LG g2 to G5 worth the upgrade?
It would be same size screen 65inch
Thanks
G2 to G5 isn’t a slight upgrade, it’s over 1000nits in 10% window brightness difference and almost 200nits in full screen brightness for oneSo are £200 Bush LCD 4K TV's

Then your tv is set up incorrectly if your not at 100 contrast or OLED light (especially if your a couple of generations old)as it’s not about general brightness it’s about spectacular highlights, that’s what HDR doesIf you find hdr already bright then what does it matter.
I haven't set oled light and contrast to 100 for HDR modes as it's simply too bright

yes I'm aware those two settings should be set to 100. Also there is another setting, peak brightness which effects maximum output.
When I've tired it's stupidly bright. I watch in a unlit room apart from a bias light
Can't remember what I've set it to.
I went from a C9 to. G4/M4. The only real thing that stood out was the size increase 55 to 65...and anti reflective coating. Yes it's brighter but the C9 was already bright enough for me.
Yes the PQ and processing is better but not super noticeably.
