Hey, whats up
ive bought an 5090 aorus master, and its great soo far
the only issue that i noticed its the fan noise at higher rpms (1600+). Its not too loud, but uts have some sound of motor fan. Its normal? Im gonna post a video

Why not just post this in your older thread?

I'm not hearing anything that would concern me either way regarding the card, more you making noises while flailing around what looks like a small microphone in your hand extremely close to hardware that could easily be mistaken for an IEM earbud?

Here's another video
Without headphones

lmao no haha
Its the motor of the fan at 1600 rpm
I thought that the aours 5090 fans were virtually silent, only air noise

That is the air noise. Pull the fan off the heatsink and you'll hear almost nothing. Without the heatsink right in the way there is nothing to cause massive air turbulence so the noise goes way down.

Probably can't pull the fan off but you can do the same with a case fan, the more stuff you put in the path of the airflow the more noise you get and the faster the fan spins the more air is being pushed and the more potential for noise when it hits something.

i get it, so its normal, nothing to worry about

Sounds like you're breathing heavily down the mic at most.

Ive managed to record a better video
This are the fans at 60%
Its something wrong with the fans?

It honestly just sounds like regular fan noise to me, it might be a little loud for 60% but nothing I'd be concerned about.

I'd set a voltage limit of 450W and adjust your fan curve, lower temps and better noise levels, you should get better boost clocks from doing so also.

Do you have the same card?
Its the "hum" noise rhat concern's me, but i was watching some noctua A12 fan test and its also have some kind of "hum"..so, maybe all fans make some sort of noise

Not the Aorus Master, but I've built with other 5090's for various builds however including the FE.

I've also built around 10-12 rigs give or take this year with various GPU's ranging from 9060XT's to 5080's and of course the aforementioned 5090 series. Suffice it to say I mess around with stuff a fair bit, I am however quite frugal and if I was buying a 5090 it wouldn't be a premium model like the Aorus Master. I can see why you might be a bit more concerned when plumbing for what is a top tier 5090.

yeah, its quite expensive, specially here (Chile)
however, its the aorus master

Yeah, I corrected it lol.

My mind defaults to astral/master when thinking of the most expensive 5090's.
hahaha
well, im gonna keep it
Like i said in another thread, the wareanty in chile sucks, they've only accept visible defects, like no spinning fan or no video
and i imagine aorus warranty take some very long time
