Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [26th - 28th December 2025]

That was an interesting watch from a Man Utd fan, would like the manager to explain the subs if he could.
I guess look at the bench and figure what other options he had.
Losing Mount really affected the shape and we couldn't hold the ball at all. He was really playing in midfield and giving a deal of structure to the play that you won't get with Dorgu. We lost that, Cas is only ever good for 60 mins and then we basically gave up competing. What baffled me was the use of Dalot. I know he's a defensive asset but we had no way other than Cunha to transition and give Newcastle something to think about. Personally I think Lacey would have been better coming on there but he's so small that the physical presence would be diminished.
A wins a win but all it did was confirm that our squad is really terrible in terms of depth.

Once mount went off injured we were just holding on in the end. Thankfully Newcastle were completely toothless. Hopefully it is nothing serious.

Forest have started pretty well and willing to attack a bit, which I’m surprised to be saying given it’s Dyche at the wheel.
