Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [26th - 28th December 2025]

Dunno how Arsenal got a corner off an easy offside call, but 2-1 isn’t bad all considered.

Bit tense at the end but deserved the win. We're really struggling in front of goal though. Not sure what to think about Gyokeres, his general play was pretty decent initially but now he's less and less involved. He had a fairly decent chance to score and completely fluffed it early on.

Ah I was watching but just turned it off. Villa looked like they found their rhythm, were playing quite well.

Lots of United/Ex players on the pitch. Sancho, Lindleof, Nacho...

Chelsea playing like Arsenal. Loads of first half possession then anonymous second half. Garnacho is all kinds of useless too, not sure he's an upgrade on Mudryk.

Those villa away fans chanting about winning the league

On todays showing they're going to absolutely school us midweek, any result for them and they'll be right in the mix. City last game of the season too so we might actually have a decent title race on our hands.

Honestly, none of us truly believe it's a possibility but it's nice being up there and scaring the big teams.

Understand that they lose 2 of thier starting defenders due to suspension on Tuesday following tonight though (I might be wrong, was half listening)
