After some opinions, The light in my basement has gone faulty, its one of these:

I've checked there's power going to the unit and piggy backed a CFL bulb onto it for now - is it worth faffin about with? I cant see anything obviously damaged, its a fairly new light and all the cables are good/tidy from what I can tell?

You may be able to wire in a replacement LED driver. Should only cost a few quid and easy enough to do.

Not had the most of experience but made my own strip lights with drivers and not had the actual strip fail before only a driver or two over the years. However can't rule out either I suppose.

I take it you've not got a multimeter to check what the driver is doing?

I use Aliexpress a lot and they have lots of suitable 36w drivers on there for £2-4 or so but the Amazon one looks like it will do and will be delivered quicker and could send back if not correct.

I don't know what driver would physically fit but if it's for basic basement light, I guess looks won't be the main concern?
