Hi All,

Given £200 in Amazon vouchers and in need of replacing my 30 year old Humanscale chair which is falling apart. What would people advise I buy?

Cheers
Daz

I've just bought a Desktronic SitOne and I'm quite pleased with it, plenty of adjustments, the seat cushion is just right in terms of firmness. The only issue I've had with it is that you can't lock the lumbar position so it tends to move down its notches as you move in the chair, but I've just gotten used to adjusting it every so often.

I'm pretty impressed with it around the 200 mark anyway.

If you like mesh seats then the FlexiSpot ErgoX is £199.99 atm. The FlexiSpot Foldex can be had for £200 in black and has a cushion seat but the lumbar doesn't look adjustable and it's gimmick is about folding to store under a desk.

I use the Flexispot C7 Max. Personal experience with the brand I'll happily vouch for the brand.

Symino gaming chair - the one with the extra cushioning is £199, and usually has a discount or a voucher on Amazon.

Haven't tried it myself yet, but it looks super comfy, and overall reviews are very good (full disclosure: with a small number of individual reviews which look worrying!)

This does look comfy, asinmuch as I've endured office-style chairs (in workplaces, and I never want any reminder of the 9-5 ever again).

Is there a decent maker of comfy gaming chairs for people who (out of necessity) can't stay sat straight, upright, etc?

Essentially, not posterior/spine/neck alignment but a miniature armchair.
