Glad you're taking it with good humour @Efour. Not sure I'd be so chipper under the circumstances.

Having a sober day today, otherwise I think I'd be drinking every day for two weeks straight by the time I head home.

I've seen few actual deals the whole season - lots of stuff are just on "deals" they've been on all year around just renamed for Black Friday, Christmas, Boxing Day sales. Though I have managed to nab the odd decent deal here or there.

Crappy jokes aside I hope all is back to normal soon.

The MiL seems to be attempting shellfish assassination. I have a rule of eat the same day as purchasing.. nope she was trying 2 days past that and fed the scraps to her dog on day +4 which managed 20ft before being violently sick and then looking sorry for itself the rest of the day.
Then you have people putting raw turkey on a plate to cook on a hot stone only to put the cooked meat back on their plate.. I got “poo poo” looks from her when mentioned food safety and separating uncooked and cooked meats..
No wonder I’ve been ill.. not that I’m ungrateful for the effort made but I can’t tolerate bad food hygiene.. the Mrs seems to not be affected, perhaps she’s immune due to upbringing? Anyways time for an awkward your moma conversation.

A few at work really complacent to food hygiene and can never seem to connect the dots when it makes them ill - winds me up a bit. Especially meat you just do not take chances with that.
 
Just had the Cat in law (at 4am) do it’s best to demand attention to be let out (it’s not allowed overnight to be out due to the road).
* meowing & trills - check
* scratching bed - check
* opening wardrobe and making as much noise inside - check
* jump on human - check
* purr loudly and demand attention - check
* balance on side of human whilst attempting to sleep - check
* follow to loo and scratch door whilst human goes to the loo - check
* jump on human again but ensure foot land right in privates - check
* make biscuits while settling - check
* locate most awkward position in bed to prevent human moving - check
* get the huff when it’s not working and take frustration out on Christmas gnome toy - check
* leave and go elsewhere - check

well.. haven't been in here for a while :eek: someone mentioned ocuk and i realised I should probably log in to check my account hasn't been hacked, only to forget what email is registered and have a mini panic that it had been :o also took me a while to realise where the jingle bell noise was coming from
