Best place to get rid of a car you wouldn't sell, but technically runs?

Decided to try WBAC first. Because i think PXing a dud is probably not possible as looks like I need to buy next car long distance.

And WBAC (even if knocked down) is a much much better price than scrap.

There's a few reports webuyanycar don't even drive the car if they're busy. Considered them recently for a vehicle.
In my experience book the last slot of the day in the dark and wet and they almost don't even look at the car just check the paperwork. Obviously this is at the bottom end of the market so applicable to the OP, I imagine they'd make the effort for something a bit more expensive

This is actually not a bad idea.

Why am I surprised but not surprised at the same time that they do this...

I called my local scappers they came and collected it within a day, for my 11 plate 3 door golf DTI 1.6 they gave be a fixed £350. Maybe you have a local one that will do the same.
I needed a new clutch pump, but I knew the timing belt and two front tyres was due, with 174K on the clock it was beyond repairing.

It saves all the tire kickers etc... thou I have seen worst cars up for sale on FB for 1K... if they sell or not is another question.

Even better this time of the year, my partner took her Astra to WBAC when it was pouring with rain and the guy said he didn't get paid enough to inspect cars in the rain and just paid her. Even better if it's a snowing and the cars covered by the time you've finished the paperwork

The most honest way is Ebay appropriately labelled with the issues..

You know palming it off on WEBAC or a garage is really just passing most of the issues on to someone else since they'll do the bare minimum if anything at all and it's just a future headache for someone else..

I'm definitely doing this! It's genuinely a great tip!
