Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics]) - Do NOT use imgur, postimage or imgbb!

A couple of clones from Oakcha, really impressed with the packaging, easily the best clones i've found! And the smells are the closest to (if not better than) the originals.

Christmas present to myself. Finally got around to buying a server cabinet and tidying things up ahead of moving house. Hopefully it’s big enough!

Current mess and missing a lot of bits still in boxes

I'm sure you already know this but its a slippery slope. I bought some unifi stuff last year to sort out some wifi issues in our house. Got all all sorted and set up nicely and bought another wireless AP to install upstairs on the landing. Its still in the box because I realised that the AP on the wall in my office was already outperforming the previous setup and solving all the issues we had before on its own.

When we move house I will get it set up. Probably.

Yes. I’m well aware. I currently have 3 UniFi APs in this rental (it’s a long narrow house so one at one end, on just past middle and then one outside for the pool)

New house will be similar but then I plan to route all cabling for cameras to this point along with multi zone speakers.

Current plans

Ikea are discontinuing all their Zigbee stuff so grabbed one or two things for my dumb smart home:

Ready for 2026

Their Tradfri blinds were an absolute joke to connect and get working with the remote, let alone with their proprietary app. Google Home worked much better with it, but it really put me off their 'smart' kit.

I used their GU10 bulbs, which have far outlived Hue bulbs and are still going, but hadn't really tried any more of their products.

I'll probably have a look at the new products.
