I hate seeing players (Maatsen) doing that, rolling around like you've been shot yet less than 60 seconds later, you're back on your feet. Yes it was studs down the back of the calf but that's a complete over reaction. When you see horrific leg breaks like Valencia, Shaw, Gomes etc - they don't roll around like that.

Have you ever had someone rake your achilles like that? Its very painful.

No doubt it's painful, but it doesn't require a 5 x roll across the floor. You can't react like that and a few moments later not only being fine, but sprinting down the left wing like he was. It just makes a mockery of the game. Some of those players I mentioned literally had limbs pointing in directions they're not supposed to and they didn't roll around like that. It's play acting, nothing less.
 
Arsenal being very lucky for a change, can't keep relying on it though. Need to really up our game and start playing some decent football. Nearly all our games recently have been utter bore-fests aside from 2nd half vs Villa and Bayern.

If you said this about every challenge it would be endless, very rarely does the reaction match the foul.

Anyone see the AFCON final? What an absolute farce. Senegal have a 94th min goal disallowed, Morocco get a penalty a few mins later, Senegal protest and leave the pitch. Goes on arguing for 15 mins, Moroccan player tries a panenka and missed it.. extra time now!

Wasn't it Afcon where the Ref blew the whistle before 90 minutes was even up?
