I worry they might be tempted to let Andy go without bringing in a replacement as they might think the season's a write-off anyway.
 
By all accounts he’s turned the contract offer down, so it’s no surprise they may look to sell. Love Robbo to bits, but he not been great this season, even against Barnsley he struggled.
 
Robbo not going anywhere as it stands, looks like it depends on Roma getting a replacement for Tsimikas according to Ornstein- deal was in place for after the final cl group game.
 
Raheem tha dream Sterling has left Chelsea. See if anyone takes an expensive gamble on him and livens this window up a bit.

I don't see why they would. Hes 31, has barely kicked a ball for a long time and when he has, he hasn't really done anything. If he can get someone to pay him £150k/week I think he will have done well.

No one will pay that.. well perhaps Saudi.. It will all come down to, does he still want to play football... and if he does he'll lower any wage demands if a club comes for him that he wants to play for..

As a multimillionaire 31 year old, I think i'd just retire..

They might simply because thats a middle of the road salary for a good player and he wouldn't necessarily have any costs outside that. Thats a little under £8m/year. Lets say you sign a player on a 3 year contract for £80k/week. Thats about £4m/year salary which is very low. Add in their transfer fee and you have to have bought that player for £12m to come out with the same cost as Sterling.

What does £12m and £80k/week buy you. Very little unless you uncover a hidden gem.

With the amount of games we have starting to pile up an extra body would have came in handy. Howe said they not even going to look into the loan market.

I was bamboozled why Leeds bid 30m, clearly these clubs are seeing something the fans aren’t…

I always find with Leeds we bid for these players knowing there is no chance it’ll get accepted, but it looks like ‘we tried’ when ultimately we bring no one in. Infuriating.
