I think at least some of the charm with DS9 is how closely tied to TNG it is, whereas Voyager felt relatively detached. The first episode featured The Enterprise, Sisko had beef with Picard and blamed him for the loss of his wife from when he was turned into a Borg. Then you have Miles and eventually Worf becoming major characters on the show too, who were definitely high points in both series.

They ruined the later stuff, especially the recent ones which were mostly awful (discovery). The setting, the characters were just all wrong.

They changed it from a utopia to some kind of dystopia real world problems as the undertone.

I am on Adventure mode and found it got a bit harder in sector 3. Basically crew started getting annoyed i was taking too many cycles before moving on :p

I am now sector 4. Hope to get that done tonight. Fun!
 
Managed to get to sector 5. I do push my time in each sector. Buys me more time to get more upgrades done. I can always get any lost morale back up.

Those trebles kicked ass in sector 4. I was starting to think I am missing something.
 
Now sector 6. Where you guys at? :)

I managed to milk this sector at the end and collect everything and also do lots of research.

You on Adventure mode yet? I am so happy I went with this mode. Would have defo had to restart otherwise as lots to learn and get used to.

Nownthat I found balance I am getting as much research done as possible and upgrading things.

Almost finished Sector 7. What a game.

If you are a Voyager fan this really is a treat.

What would have made this game go from very good to awesome in my book is if it had voice acting and a better battle system.

Save system is already much better now since they patched it and they said they will improve it further yet.

It's got promise, but needs what I can only describe as serious polishing at this point.

Bugbears:
  • No research queue.
  • No way to search the tech tree for something required by a mission.
  • You've got to complete the current story mission to continue into a new sector. (just let me abandon it if I want)

Small issues that don't bother me but if sorted would be good yeah.

Sector 8 now :)
 
Not a huge fan of this type of game but I am indeed loving this. I had to restart a few times to get the hang of what I was supposed to do to stop a mutiny! Making some progress now though.
 
Made it to Chapter 10. Seems there are 12 chapters.

I have researched almost everything at this point except borg stuff where I have only done a few.
