Wireless headset for PC and Xbox Series X running through the same monitor.

As per title.

I currently run my PC and an Xbox Series X through the same 4k PC gaming monitor, but with the Series X is rather limited to available headsets and cross compatability, and has no digital output.

Looking for a headset to possibly replace my Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless, this is the old one with the square desktop DAC, that cannot be connected to the Xbox.

Had thought of the Audeze Maxwel, but no, I am not interested in plugging a dongle in and out of devices. I will be listening to music or gaming on the PC, and occasionally switching on the Xbox, so being able to switch from one to the other on a desktop device will probably be required.

This sort of leaves me with it seems limited options, the Astro A50 X wireless headset but I do dislike the mic being permanent and lack of audio jacks, the newer Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Xbox Wireless headset, or the Steelseries Arctis Nova Elite wireless headset. Or do I just get the official Xbox headset for the console and swap over when using that?



Wondering if there are any opinions or options that can be shared, I cannot be the only one with console and PC connected to the same monitor.
 
Before I went got my wired hd550 with boom mic, I went through a multitude of wireless headsets.

The best I found was the a50x for the price think I picked them up for around 200 quid. Simultaneous Bluetooth, amazing mic, comfy with the gadgetry pads and good sound quality after a slight EQ.

Also had the Steelseries Arctis Nova Elite while good, wouldn't say they were any better than my a50x and couldn't justify the price of them, so returned them.

Only thing with the a50x is the base station would be much better if it came with a dongle as not all my consoles and pc's are in the same room.
 
I'm finding it harder to recommend the Maxwells - fantastic sound, but they're just so bloody heavy.
I've been using my Sony XM5 more often, as they're comfy and the excellent ANC means I can work in peace despite the mayhem of 3 (and frequently 6) kids in the background.

Getting my study back and moving my desk out of the lounge can't happen quick enough.
