Samsung Galaxy S26 Family Thread

That reminds me of the early flat screen days of 2004 when they were marketed as TFT screens and they had narrow viewing angles. You had to look at it dead on give or take a few degrees to see a decent image.

Looks great that! At the very start of the video, he has it heads on and the screen "looks" very good when it is on. Noticed there is a maximum privacy option too so might completely black it out more at angles?

Interestingly the one year Samsung delays the launch of their new phone and I have yet to receive this years Birthday voucher
Still time (just!), but it may make up my mind as to whether I stick with what I have for another year! It's not like there is much excitement for this year's model

Turns out Samsung only send a code if you have made a purchase from them within the last year.

Guess I've no choice but see what offers like for this, then if nothing good, look at Chinese premium phones as I can't see battery last another year in my S23U.

That or see about official battery replacement.

Ifixit sell batteries as good as the original and with guide's, Samsung are the few that's not difficult to replace

I'm in for the S26 Ultra, yeah it's not a massive upgrade over the S25 Ultra and of course I could keep the S25 Ultra as it has been faultless but where's the fun in that!:)
I'll see what trade in pricing is available across a few different formats before hitting the buy button ans see what (if any) freebies I can sell.

As a base S25 owner I would need to see Samsung improve their cameras and screens to make me consider buying another of their phones and sway me from switching to a Pixel next year
