Haven't we had a few years recently with a false start, Spring looks like starting then everything freezes with a sudden pre-Easter artic blast?

chucked it down this morning (near Cambridge) and is dull now.
however in general the weather has been nice this last few days and I even managed the 1st grass cut of the year on wednesday

I saw a couple of butterflies (a brimstone and a peacock) earlier this week, which is always a sign of spring.

Lots of things budding and growing very early this year. It’s been very mild. Cut the grass for the first time.

Was chucking it down this morning, but sunny late afternoon/evening here. Wednesday just gone was a very good day though.

a bloody housefly got on earlier, the houseflies are back

Today has almost been as warm as last Wednesday in Hampshire at around 15C earlier, when the forecast high was ~13C.

Deffo feels spring like in the last few days. Temps are 10-12 degrees in the South West and some healthy amount of sunshine. Hopefully we can have a couple of drier months (please)

Ah yes, spring. Kids are out kicking a ball about on the grass and into peoples windows, the chav from upstairs is hammering and banging in the garage getting ready for the mud plugging season in his 4x4. Come and smell the fumes.
