ASRock SL-1200P availability

It's well reviewed and the OEM is HEC, A rated on the SPL tier list.

At its current £150 price, it would be the PSU I would buy if I was building myself a rig right now, even if I had much lower power requirements.

It only very recently went out of stock, hopefully that changes soon.

Edit: Ah, the "Platinum" version of the Steel Legend? Ignore the above, brain fart moment, not that I'd spend more than the gold version personally.

Yeah, it was specifically the new platinum version I was interested in, not only because it performs well and has favourable reviews but I'm intrigued by the OTP on the 12V-2x6 connector, aka TempGuard.

The same OTP is on this Asrock PSU though its a gold and been out a few years and its close in price so I can understand waiting for the one your looking at.

Thanks for that! I'll look up some user comments on that one irt the OTP.

I'm in no real rush so can afford to wait and see if the SL-1200P turns up in the UK. It's supposed to be a good PSU in its own right so I'll patiently wait.

The 1200G has OTP

SL-850P, SL-1000P, and SL-1200P are all on my radar. I have asked Asrock for inbound stock ETAs but not had anything back yet.

Will keep pushing as I want the lines for our range.
Any idea on what the pricing would be as I'm intrested in the SL-1000P but I can't see it being cheeper than this.

Just looking at US prices, the SL-1000P is $30 cheaper than the ASRock Phantom Gaming 1000W.

Doesn't mean much beyond just that one data point.

I've still got nothing on those models yet sadly. I will ask again this week and see if there is any progress on stock coming to the uk

Thanks for the update, @rjk.

After doing a little price digging over the other side of the pond, my digging has uncovered that this range is only on Newegg (urgh!) at the moment. My usual happy place is Microcenter as we live not far from one of the stores when in the US and they don't have any sign of them nor have the usual suspects. Don't know if that means anything in regards to worldwide availability of these units.

Edited to add: I'd still MUCH prefer to buy UK.

completely understandable. best having your warranty with a UK dealer for sure.
I have chased on these and there isn't a firm ETA yet. They are coming but we just dont have any info from the brand yet.

Will post up in here if I get an update that is meaningful as I would like them in stock too.
