Crimson Desert - Not an MMORPG…anymore

Saw some talk online the other day that the CEO of Pearl Abyss has mentioned that there's a possibility of some form of multiplayer being added to the game at some point.

I wonder if it'll be in the form of a co-op mode where friends will be able to control some of the allies that you get along the way or one of the many NPC warriors you see wandering around. Really hoping that they don't implement a Souls-like 'invasion' mechanic.
 
Two ways that I can see potentially working would be:
  • You have NPC characters that go on specific missions, like the ones that you send your camp allies on from time to time - these could be expedition type missions in the regular map, inside dungeons or on another smaller map.
  • They develop a character creator for online mode which doesn't interact with any of the offline game's quests, though unsure what benefit that'd give.
There's been mention of DLC as well, so their multiplayer thoughts may be tied to that in some way.

How are more options going to affect the way you or anyone else plays the game…….It isn’t!

You don’t want to use these options, don’t, it’s that simple.

Am I supposed to do the quarry mission just by myself or with others? I got the quest but there's like 1000 enemies or something so I'm a bit confused if I'm supposed to do this later on?

You can take damiane with you. Use the character select wheel, hover over her and press X to summon.

Later in the game you can ride a dragon, so I'm not to concerned about what it looks like to ride a bear, wolf or the lion from the circus into the towns... though I do refuse to ride the bright red Kuku bird.

some of the skills you can learn make bosses extremely trivial fights.

like you probably only have the focus thing where everything slows down, you can unlock attacks you can use whilst doing that and make some bosses easy.you still need hp and defence to survive hits though.

I think I made the game hard for my self by never unlockking any opf the focus attacks until yesterday.

Iyou can send people from your camp to take over places, I'm assuming if you visit those places te people are attacking and help you. but never tried.

I had a dog tamed before that mission, the cat hes talking too maybe isnt tameable and hanging around a settlement or whatever.
if you can't pet it, then you probably cant tame it?

You can just spam pet in the first town/city on the dogs, sleep do it again.
if you can't sleep chop some wood or do a quest and try to sleep after, go back, pet the dogs as mucha s it lets you.
try throwing meat next to them before petting, it gives more progress if they eat it and you can only do interactions to tame so many times each day.

I think it was 25 progress a day without meat, so anyone can unlock a pet super early really easy.

pets seem to bug a lot and stop collecting loot which is lame, im constantly unsummoming mine and summoning it again from the pet window in inventory.

summon the horse seems to move your pet to you but doesnt always unbug it.
