Downgrade from 5090 to 9070xt?

I did it months ago, don't regret it at all. There's plenty of other hobbies to waste use that money on :D
That's my thought. I've got my eye on a belt squat and new functional trainer for my gym which I'd ridiculously still have around £900 left after the salea dn getting a 9070xt. These pieces of equipment will literally last me until I'm too old to use them.

My other thought is to sell the 5090 pick up a 5080 for around £1000.

if you dont see a difference playing games at over 60 fps you might want to get your eyes checked :D i used to game at 60 and now anything less than 90 looks like a shuddering mess on any game with fast character movement, i dont use path tracing or ray reconstitution as i care more about hitting 120+ fps in any game i play :P

If you don't see a big difference above 60fps then that 5090 needs to wrenched from your hands!! definitely sell, @ 4k you can easily get away with a 9070xt.
I definitely can see a difference, but I suppose I'm more interested nowadays in the gameplay itself of a game than chasing FPS and IQ.

And I run my games as the good lord intended, clean without AI, so don't really care about FSR vs DLSS effiency. RT and PT are nice, but again, are they £2000 in my pocket nice?

Also, I'm running my LLMs off prem now, so no need for the extra floating point muscle on the 5090.
