Only the Americans, they think everything they see on the screen is historically accurate, it how they learn history over thereHow many people go into a Hollywood film expecting it to be realistic?!

Answer is no...because Harryhausen.Quesiton is, is Odyssey better than Jason and the Argonauts?

LLMs combined with a career in feature film post production helps...Because LLM's are known for their reliability, especially the free Gemini flash model. Bet it did a load of thorough research instead of scanning the first 2 articles it found.

Incorrect. That's literally why Nolan's 70mm workflow is unique and special. He explains it here; https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/1u7yjte/christopher_nolan_explains_how_an_imax_film/Every single frame in The Odyssey is processed by a computer, as with most movies.

TBH I find it easier to just assume that the opposite of what you say is true. If you did work in film there'd have been a Christian Horner movie out by now.LLMs combined with a career in feature film post production helps...![]()
I mean based on just the actors, I am intrigued, but I think I missed the boat with this one. For me it;s a bit like LOTR, found the trilogy a real slog to read when younger, so never watched any of the films!
rp2000
Saw it tonight. Vue ultra lux so super comfy recliners, quality screen and sound.
Best epic since Kingdom of Heaven.
Ratings on rottentomatoes etc fully justified.
How was the sound mixing?I really enjoyed it. Amazing soundtrack as always with a Nolan movie.

Wow that’s insaneThe BFI IMAX showings go up to 10th September now and the good seats are gone already.

lol I couldn’t even make it through the trailer..it's probably just me but....... whilst in will watch it at some point imam more interested to see the completely AI created
The mix is excellent, there’s some very tender/quiet moments (with music iirc) and it’s never a problem. It’s never a problem in the loud parts either. Definitely doesn’t suffer the same issues. How was the sound mixing?
Dialogue too low?
Music insanely too loud
Thinking Tenet here lol

Doubt...
Kingdom of Heaven had an incredible cast, was more accurate in history ( although it's still disjointed due to hollywood ), and an incredible musical score.
I've somehow never watched it, or at least I think when I did it was on a flight and I fell asleep or something. Will have to rectify that.Kingdom of Heaven (esp the directors cut) is still my favourite epic of all time. Hard to believe it's 21 years since released.
Master and Commander and Kingdom of Heaven are insanely good.Kingdom of Heaven (esp the directors cut) is still my favourite epic of all time. Hard to believe it's 21 years since released.
This is the first film since then that has even come remotely close.
The Odyssey definitely warrants a 2nd watch, maybe 3rd at the cinema, and in the best screen possible.
I thought Master and Commander was pretty boring. But I need to see Kingdom of Heaven! And Reign of Fire although I’m not sure that’s quite on the same levelMaster and Commander and Kingdom of Heaven are insanely good.
