He's the only artist where everybody who covers his songs does a better job.

Really really good songwriter / lyricist but a pretty terrible singer.
The Chili's cover of "Subterranian homesick blues" is one of my favourite tracks (and lets be honest anthony keidis isnt exactly the best singer out there either hah)

But a suprisingly good artist..
Random fate saw me end up in this fine art shop earlier this year - I wondered who the hell paints pictures that are selling for up to £150,000 in a piddly little Guildford art shop... Saw the little plaque that read "The Beaten Path - Bob Dylan, 1/1", then saw the coffee table books near some of his other stuff (again, oiften 1/1 or 1/8, limited copies sorta thing) and realised it was THE Bob Dylan who did all these!!

Got a similar shock upstairs in the shop, when I found original works by Billy Connolly, Johnny Depp, and a couple others, none of whom I knew were artists. They even had some original Stan Lee (yes, that one) artworks. Most had photos of the artists and these actual works in progress.

They've also had Keith Richards (there's a couple of art galleries in a couple of feet of each other). Normally quite interesting to see something different. Not a Dylan fan but interesting.
