has anyone got talktalk on city fibre in the midlands and what is latency like to london based servers. i had 13ms on fttc with ecc off, but ecc permanently on now so get 21ms so im thinking to swap to full fibre as its been put in my street. ty

dont waste your money on a rubbish old card, even more so if you want to play tarkov. your system will run just fine with a 3060ti or 3070. the 70 having abit more oomph especially at higher res.

my 3070 will hit all the same perf limits and is just fine. but the OP has a 3080 with gddr6x, sounds like mem might be thermal throttling if he is getting a fps loss after 15mins. oh and if he has high idle voltage and the card isnt clocking down to low power state, there's a power management...

well if he bought his first card from here, he wont be allowed another ;) anyway instead of being salty, join a stock checker discord and setup founders alerts. you will very likely grab whichever card you want.

go buy a founders edition card if you want one for msrp. its not like they are hard to get..

prices have gone up, but not to 1200 for a 3070. if other retailers can sell 3070s for 600-800 then so can ocuk.

ocuk had 3070 amp holo for £1050 today and another website had the same cards for £770, pretty disgusting.

its been cracked twice that i know of. 1st by nivdia at full speed, 2nd by lolminer on linux at a little less than full speed. i think people will be trying very hard to crack all these other cards

they're going to nerf the bang for buck cards. 3090 isnt as profitable because of its very high cost and power usage.

no not if the market was flooded sufficiently. its gonna take a lot of cards to do that though.

there is a chance the retailer may refund you. i wouldnt risk it and would rma it to nvidia directly.
