I haven't had an MSI 1070 but i've had their twin frozr 660 and 970 and can say their cooling is the best i've seen on any card. My 970 OC'd to max would sit around 66c~ under full load with custom fan curve (so high fan speed) yet it was dead silent, they use some very good fans.

Different programs show different multiples - basically it's the lowest value x4 (2000MHZ), yours are both at 8000MHZ effectively.

How are you supposed to avoid micron memory when buying though? It seems pretty much all 1070s manufacturers have switched to it in the last month or so from what I've read.

Driver optimization means better performance, regular driver releases are mostly just compatibility updates n'stuff.

I've gotten the Palit Gamerock (non-OC version) stable at 2100mhz core clock (no throttling, temps stayed at an amazing 60-64c under full load 60%~ fan speed), memory would cause artifacting if above +460mhz though. Should give you a good idea, someone correct me if i'm wrong but i'm pretty...

That makes sense, I would've thought the reviewer bumped the voltage for OCing. Hope it's possible to get some nice clocks out of them by doing so.

Good in depth review, on what you could improve - i'd have to say pacing. If you could 'streamline' it a bit more, keep it going a bit quicker that would be something I personally would like to see. Oh and as others have said, a better mic could do wonders too - and benchmark comparison graphs...
