How come performance information is NDA when you are offering the chips for sale? Seems a bit suspect.

AMD have pulled off quite a coup d'etat, well done to them. Hopefully they will get sales to match to make things more competitive again.

I think it might be a beta bug, I was looking at the memory options and noticed that its set in two places and they seem like they can be configured independently, changing one doesn't change the other. There are the standard memory settings, then in Advanced, AMD CBS, UMC Common Options, DDR4...

My RAM is currently running at 3600mhz! AMD has delivered! :) it's rated at 3866 so going to try to see if I can manually change the timings to get it faster once I'm confident the current settings are stable.

I'm more confident than ever that its possible. Just installed the new Taichi Beta BIOS and it recognised my 3866 gskill memory, I had to dial it back to 3600 get it to boot fully, I think with some playing I may be able to get more. The RAM timings change all the way up to 3600 speed, but then...

Me too! I bought 3866 RAM in the belief that 3600 timings would be unlocked with the microcode updates, getting to 3866 or 4000mhz would be a nice bonus!

Has anyone heard any news of the May AGESA update? It seems to be very quiet over half way through May.. From this article published yesterday it sounds like they're still working on it and heven't finalised it to motherboard manufacturers yet...

Same here, I've always bought ASUS in the past but decided to get a Taichi, I love it too and would definitely consider Asrock again in the future. I think they got the design of the Taichi spot on.
