It was an XFX 750W that just died on me, but not the modular one. Kinda put off to be honest.

I bought a new build just under a year ago. Tips:- Check for affordable housing, this is normally not a problem, I have affordable housing a few doors away and generally all ok. Check the house is perfect down to every little mark and scratch before you move in.

My desktop looks pretty similar. I use the default Ubuntu desktop on my main machine across 3 monitors. Unity gets a lot of stick, but I quite like it.

My AMD 6870 has just been RMA'd by the fantastic guys at Overclockers. Spec me a new card for around £125. I might be able to add up to £50 to it, but the additional cost needs justification.
