I've had issues with this, I noticed the high draw while idle and went on an adventure trying to solve it and in the end I went back to just running my monitors off of the GPU due to the problems using split outputs worked. I too am on a 9000 series CPU now. 1) If you overlap SOME windows...

Bought one brand new for £760 - still feeling pretty good and pretty smug :)

Bought a 7900 XTX in Dec for £760, managed to overclock the boost by around 10%, given some reviews are showing about a 10% diff on the 5080 compared to the XTX I'm happy with that price to performance for 1440p, I haven't seen a game that has taken the full lot except for Tarkov, I want to say...

1440p for all of them, swear I wrote it somewhere lol Good to know for the future, it's a shame so many games don't have benchmarks or there isnt an auto tool thatll run you through the same path everytime in different games

Was going to post this on the ETA thread but figured anyone stalking that thread would probably see this, I know I would have and wanted to hear someone's results. Upgraded from a 9900k / 3600Mhz DDR4 RAM to the 9800x3d / 6000Mhz DDR5 RAM. Recently upgraded from a 3070 to a 7900 XTX too. First...

I'm all installed and up and running.. waiting on games to download. Didn't even need to update my bios at all but gunna do it regardless! Tonight is an exciting night, then I'm gunna play Balatro at 600fps or something

Mine just arrived, however I need to wait until my son gets home from school as we started building the system yesterday as he wanted to learn. If when he gets back from school he doesn't want to do the rest and I've waited hours I'll drop kick him! I've left it in the packaging just to remove...

Mines currently out for delivery :-)

1st Dec I think it was :) WOOOOOOO :D

Just got the e-mail, it's on the way! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

It was my birthday on the 25th, how long are we waiting for on delays for packages these days? Not that mines been sent out but I know someone at OCUK has a heart.. probably..

It's better than lows of below 40 right now on a 9900k, it's actually insane how much of a joke that game is CPU wise. I havent properly tried since I went from a 3070 to a 7900 XTX but I did a quick test on streets offline and it was using 20gb+ of VRAM...

What rez you playing on? Whats the lowest FPS you saw?

Nah no news but I'm hoping that a couple hundred orders takes a moment to fill over a few days but that could be some hardcore cope on my part. I work in a psychiatric hospital and I have a set contract of days I work every week so I'll be in on Christmas day even though it's also my birthday...

I hurt my back a while ago so there is also that I want it to be as much a one and done as possible. I've also tried to be conservative with the parts I've bought, I think I also wanna see the massive jump up without a step in between, I thought about doing the same with the GPU but I couldn't...

I'm so happy for you ;)

Very nice, I'm using an old xeon 1243 or something as a plex server with a gtx 470 lol I'll be using the 9900k to pay off some of this new purchase :D

Sounds like we got similar upgrades on the go, I'm going from a 9900k. I think knowing where you are in the queue would be nice but I get why they don't make promises, the updates have been very welcome

Id think so, I'm hoping mine is but it's really difficult to judge lol
