I still can't wrap my head around the fact that people still think AMD is loosing money selling hardware. This is just ridiculous.
They are not a charity.
I went from 6700k to 9700k. In a day to day tasks it is not any faster. But encoding 8 min 4k60fps video on the 6700k would take around 45 minutes. On this one it takes 11 minutes, mind you it is overclocked to 4.8 on all cores, 6700k only reached 4.6 stable on all 4 cores.
The temps are also...
RTX2070 will cost minimum around 570£ as per Gibbo's previous post. And next one in line will be rtx 2080 for 770. Below we will have gtx 1080 for 500 but they will also be sold out soon apparently.
So we will have only option to buy gtx 1070/ti and then big gap all the way to rtx2070?
If all of the 1080ti will be sold out by the end of October everywhere, the price gap will be too big between gtx 1080 and rtx 2080. No way this is happening.
Noctua is definitely quieter if you run your pc on full whack, when gaming or just normal pc usage i'd say both make the same noise. Just set the fans to low rpm. Pump at standard setting is whisper quiet.
I have bought corsair few weeks ago to replace my Noctua. There was no issue installing it at all, when it comes to cables please see picture below, this is the best i could achieve.

You can see deals for 1080 all over the place.ocuk,forest,scam.
Something is coming.
It is ether ti coming or vega is .
Let's hope,for both of them.
and have some decent price fights
I had the same issue with Asrock mobo. As far as I remember the fix for this was to start pc with PCI Express( Power on by PCIEX >> Enable) rather than with inbuilt graphics card
I was actually looking to get predator myself. But for me the most important was the noise. I use also dh15, and if predator is louder, then probably I am going to stay with noctua, which is a nice cooler, but damn, it is ugly as hell.
Bit disappointed to be honest.
