In 2010 I used to use 2x Radeon 5870s in Crossfiire and if I remember correctly a single 1 of those cards could run up to 6 monitors lol it was crazy Its not really good for proper gaming now tho but to power some screens it should be more than fine and super cheap

I don't think its worth an upgrade from 3800 to 3900, wait til 4900 or something to get proper benefit of upgrading, the 3800 and 3900 will still be very good for a long time to come

I'd personally say wait a little bit longer then pick up a cheap 3700X when 4000x series come out, with your motherboard 3700x is probably the best way to go, the 3800XT wouldn't be worth the extra cost over a 3700X imo.

With my 3700X build in March I decided to go for 3600mhz ram also rather than 3200, not much price difference in the grand scheme of things and will be good as can easily add another 16gb 3600mhz in the future once 32gb is probably worth getting (not worth it for me atm)

I think 10gb should be fine for a long time but I'm in no rush to upgrade (still happy with 11gb 1080Ti for 1440p), if they release a 20gb card or something later on down the line tho then I would consider this instead as more "future proof"

I have a 980Ti and game at 1440p (165hz) and everything runs amazing, will add another 980Ti one day when needed but that won't be for a long time imo.

I was seriously considering an ultrawide but I play mainly FPS games and went for Asus PG279Q 27" 165hz IPS and soooo glad I did, 100hz just wouldn't be enough imo

I recently upgraded from 1080p to 1440p and I'm amazed at how well the 980Ti still performs at this level - the resolution jump doesn't seem like much but its actually a 70% or so increase (2m pixels to 3.5m pixels) and the 980Ti has no issues with BF1 at this res at high hz =D
