This is getting ridiculous (energy prices - Strictly NO referrals!)

Just going from when I did mine (under the 3.68kW), the DNO asked for a schematic drawing, plan of the installation, a G100 form and G98 form B. Fair if you don't need to tell them.

Wish I knew that when I did my DIY install

Hate to be that person, but I don't think these have a G98 cert, so I don't think the DNO would pass it when you commission your DIY system. If you've got it signed off by them then fair enough, or just running it without telling them. Just wanted people to be aware before ordering.

So 3DMark added a Storage Benchmark (paid DLC)

Glad to see they have released this, I'd like to see a breakdown on the results page as well but for the time being you can unzip the saved results and look at the CSVs for all the test numbers. Intel Optane 900P 280GB Storage Score 3768 - https://www.3dmark.com/strg/4876 Storage Bandwidth...

    Starlink - anyone using it?

That FTTC connection will be a nice backup when you get Starlink. According to the app we are getting about 2 minutes of downtime a day but haven't noticed it as it's bonded with the 4G connections. I know Starlink isn't in any way cheap compared to FTTC/FTTP that most people can get but when...

    Starlink - anyone using it?

Ouch, that's nearly as bad as waiting for a GPU! I know that feeling with ADSL, we can get FTTC, but it's estimated at 3-7Mbps down so never bothered with it. Got a quote for FTTP that came back at £19k, so that wasn't really an option. 4G has been great here for the last year or so since we...

    Starlink - anyone using it?

That looks a lot more useable. When did you order Starlink? Ours was 6 days from order confirmed to delivery which was a lot quicker than expected. First email after ordering said 2-3 weeks. Had a 'Intermittent service' message on the app last night, but it was still managing 100Mbps down and...

    Starlink - anyone using it?

It's just their cheapest VPS which I'm using with openmptcprouter. It combines all your connections using multipath TCP to give a single connection, so you can get the most out of the connections on a single download/upload, added benefit of getting a static ip and no cgnat. Load balancing in...

    Starlink - anyone using it?

Did some aggregated speed tests last night. This is with Starlink plus 2 4G connections running through a VPS from Krystal. https://www.speedtest.net/result/11333188491.png

    Starlink - anyone using it?

Speeds are meant to be getting better over time but yeah, will probably drop if they start over subscribing the satellites/ground stations bandwidth. It's been an improvement compared to our two 4G connections so far, hopefully it'll hold up.

    Starlink - anyone using it?

Thought I'd post in here as we had Starlink delivered yesterday. Early days but happy with it so far, set up was really easy, and it connected in about 10 mins. First speed tests were around the 150Mbps mark, but it's been between 200-300 all day today.

Before I try it does anyone know if PPS Sieve runs faster on Linux compared to Windows?

Snap. Only tip I can give is to run 2 tasks per GPU, seems to be quicker on my rigs (Pascal cards)

Overclockers UK Presents: Eleven Table Tennis: The Tournament

Probably stating the obvious but OBS works well for recording and you can use OculusMirror (Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-diagnostics) to get your headset view if you wanted to record that as well.

Lokiss Vs Chris182008, Lokiss won 2-1 (11-7, 7-11, 11-8) Felt a pretty even match will have to arrange a re-match at some point.
