It would give some piece of mind if one could charge ones car from another electric vehicle. Ie could get wife to connect here up to mine if running low in order to get mine home. Anyone think this would be a nice feature?
If I swap from BT to, say, Zen, is it straightforward to keep my number the same? And again if I go back to BT in a year or two? I am out of contract with BT and so far I am not being offered a decent deal by them.
We’ve a chair that rotates so can be front or rear facing. Makes it very easy to get the wee man in and out. Can confirm the X3 works well as a main baby moving vehicle. We’ve quite a large pram and brought it along to the showroom to check it fits before buying the car. They through in a...
Did a sprint and a Half Iron last year. None this year as I became a dad over the winter and sport took a sideline. I used tostruggle with distance swimming but I read Total Immersion by Terry Laughlin and worked on some of the exercises. It totally transformed my swimming, particularly the...
Just done this in my new home. Ran 2 Cat6 cables to each room (4 to the living room). All terminate at a 24 port patch panel and unmanaged switch in a cabinet in our laundry room. We were renovating and therefore happy to grind into walls and make good after. I fired in a Unifi AP for good...
Have used the Garmin 735xt for over a year as an everyday watch. I do triathlons too which is my reason for getting it. Battery life is brilliant (about 2 weeks in watch mode). The 935xt which replaced it is supposed to be even better in this regard.
ps with regards to the watch type ones like the 735xt I do not wear mine on the bike but rather have it mounted using the optional Garmin bike mount. Works well. No need to carry your phone. All data uploads to Garmin Connect and Strava automatically over blue tooth when I get home. Just for...
Am using the 735xt from Garmin. It has just been replaced by the more expensive 935 but I expect you might find decent deals on the 735xt second hand now as people start to upgrade. It's a wearable and works great as an every day watch. Battery life is brilliant too. And if you wish to track...
I am getting back into triathlon after a 4 year absence and plan on buying a new bike to replace my existing Fuji Roubaix Pro. I do not want a full time trial bike and would prefer something more versatile.
Under consideration:
Giant TCR 1 (Ultegra)
Giant TCR 2 (Shimano 105)
CAAD 12...
Nearly back from a 12k light year round trip to unlock Palin for the level 5 engines. Took rather longer than anticipated as initially set out towards the rim and ran into a large area of permit locked systems. Changed tack and had better luck. A relief when the Palin message pinged. Exploring...
My Coil whine has disappeared after a few days running in. That's with a Strix 1080 playing Elite Dangerous on my X34a at 100hz. I am going to do more testing over the weekend with other titles before I decide whether to go through with the RMA I organised. I have a Corsair PSU btw.
1080 Strix arrived today and there is coil whine under load. I will be RMAing it. First card I have owned with coil whine. My 980 Strix was quiet as a mouse in that respect as have been previous AMD cards I have owned.
Was at Fabric a half dozen times in my late twenties. We used to have such amazing nights. Drug use was prevailant and obvious back then (five-ish years ago). Sorry to see the place close.
