Thaumcraft is making me cry

Lots of water and other liquids flowing in a quarry seems to be the problem. Any chance a mod can come on and fix?

Is it me or is the mining awful? I've found no coal or ores, only apatite and a couple of gravel ores...

Is there some form of wireless communication so if the Turtle gets stuck it could send a message to a monitor? And between dimensions? Or maybe some form of ender chest system which the Turtle puts a file into if it's stuck... Just an idea so it's easier to know if it's stuck without having to...

Ah fair enough. I'm about 9 or 10 months out of date with the mods so I've got a bit of learning to do.

The game wouldn't even launch for me. I've installed fastcraft as 5punky said and I'm not getting a lot better FPS (around 100 as an average) whereas it was stuck around 30-40 before. I'll take a look at that link, Thanks, Cam.

Is there any alternative to Optifine for this server? My FPS is crap for some reason and Optifine just crashes the game. Apparently it could be to do with Tinkers Construct?

Hey again, I've just replaced the thermal paste with AS5 and spread it with my finger. First run hit 92 degrees. I promptly stopped. Restored defaults in bios and left turbo enabled. Now the hottest it gets is 84 degrees. Obviously this is brand new paste so I assume the temps may drop a...

To be honest, my motherboard is pretty restrictive overclocking-wise so I'm gonna get push pull SP's to try and maximise performance a bit :) Cam.

Ooh ok. Well I might leave it for a bit as I might ask for a AIO cooler for christmas so.. you never know ;) EDIT: Or I might just upgrade the 212 and get push/pull SP120's Cam.

Ok I'll try that and give my PC a nice re-cable and report back. By the way, with only enhanced turbo enabled and the OC taken off the temps were about 80-83 degrees C so definitely something not right
