I had £2000 in mind but I dont need to stick to it, as long as my wife doesn't find out!
I would rather spend a bit more now and not need to spend anything for the next 5 years, with the 5800x3D, 32GB Ram and a 4090 i would expect this to last a minimum of 5 years before looking at upgrading...
Agree that the 7900XT gives the better price per performance/frame, however the 4080s have overall more power and has better RT performance.
Anyway i am looking at a 4090 now :)
Apreciate the reply :)
You have selected the 4000D not the 5000D i was looking at, i dont think there is a huge amount of difference and the GPU would fit in the 4000D, i will have a look at some reviews and see, could be a good way to save £60.
I had looked at the Zotac cards but im sure i seen...
What would you consider better value?
Obviously the case front needs to look decent, but for fans I read that the t30s are some of the best right now.
I'm open to suggestions however.
This is a good idea but i really dont want to deal with Facebook,Ebay or any other selling sites, If i had access to the members market here then i would but thats not going to happen for a long while!
I could push the budget up to accomodate a 7800x3D system but my current motherboard and Ram...
I want the option to try ray tracing and my monitor has G-sync support.
I am open to an AMD card but my undersatnding is that although they can match a 4080s in some games the 4080s still comes out on top while using less power.
I have two NVME drives a 250GB Sabrent Rocket that has my OS and...
I cant see any 4090s for £1300, looking at pricing on OCUK i can only see them for £1700+, however i may see if OCUK would price match as i have seen the Gigabyte Windforce 4090 at £1600.
I am not looking at going AM5 as that would be £600 minimum, i think with a 5800x3d i could get another 4...
Hi All,
Many years ago (Dec 2017) I purchased an EVGA FTW3 1080ti which has been rock solid from day 1.

Hi All,
I want to upgrade my GPU to a 4090 but have some questions i hope someone with more experiance can help with! I will try and keep this as concise as possible.

This is probably going to be personal preferance and based on your use case. If the speakers are just for general sound and maybe some YT then either side of the monitors would be fine.
But if you are watching movies and TV shows or using for gaming then a more optimal position would be better...
