I experienced the exact same issue, albeit a bit louder, after 3 days (posted a video earlier in the thread). Returned to OC and got a new one and 2 weeks in so far so good.

Replacement received so here's hoping the previous issue was just a dodgy fan.

It was silent for the first 3 days, only started today and it's gone back to being silent at the moment ... and now its noisy again :/

If you shop around the UK price difference is close to non-existent and that's before you explore any price matching possibilities. I stuck with OCUK though. Have never had anything except first class service from them.

Anyone got any experience with backlight bleed on the X34A, particularly in comparison to the Asus PG348Q? I'm on my 2nd Asus and the excessive backlight bleed in the top corners is insane :(

Finally took the plunge. Superb monitor ruined by backlight bleed: It's a stark contrast from the results the guys at TFT Central got and I'm really quite annoyed at the apparent lack of QC from Asus. Anyway new one on it's way, just hope it's not a batch problem :( p.s. Photo came out...

As mentioned before I sent a letter by recorded delivery threatening legal action and trading standards involvement. As if by magic 2 days later my repaired screen arrived, no apologies or explanations. Will never touch Hazro again.

My personal preference is 30" 2560x1600. I tried a 27" 2560x1440 but found the text too small to comfortably read.

Mind telling how Overclockers helped? They're refusing to do anything for me.

Thanks for the Facebook idea, can't see him on there but will try Linked in. The postal address apparently has over 2,500 businesses registered to that postcode so it's likely just a forwarding service but that's where I'm sending the papers anyway.

Have so far emailed them 6 times. Overclockers have apparently emailed them on my behalf as well.

Their quoted MAXIMUM time to resolve is 30 days and they've not once replied to my email inquiries asking for an update. If it was going to take longer then fine, I have no problem with that as long as they let me know. I am completely in the dark. I went directly to them because...
