The latest Ubuntu LTS edition is a good place to start if for no other reason when you run into a problem and google it you'll have a higher chance of finding a solution with specific instructions for your situation. Then move to one of "cool" distros later if you want once you've learned the...
Something that has worked for me in the past when I needed to build a Windows install for a family member or even a clean build of Windows for myself is to create a Oracle VirtualBox virtual machine pointing to a single real SSD, then install Windows that way - the virtual machine only sees the...
There is another thread on this very forum on this topic, it solved my issues :) https://www.overclockers.co.uk/forums/threads/firefox-now-supports-hardware-video-acceleration-youtube-etc.18900661/
Seems like you might have some kind of hardware issue - are those monitors pretty old - you mention DVI...? I've never really noticed a problem with nvidia on Ubuntu - have had experience with 2 different GPUs, 4 different monitors and both AMD and Intel.
NVidia works best with Display Port for...

Firefox used to work fine for me until I got a 3080 and now it is laggy and choppy. Turning off video acceleration made no difference. However driver 455.28 seems to have made the problem less severe.

Have been playing wow on Ubuntu for more than a year now, there have only been a few minor issues which you can sort out with a quick google. I guess it is highly compatible since they make a Mac version. There is also an addon helper called wowmatrix that has a native linux version. The...
I'm not expecting Haribo in mine either, haven't opened it yet, but it came in an ASUS branded box with the model number showing and also some other long number called the SCARNO
Tell me about it! Happened to me too, lost about half an hour due to it. From now on I'll make sure to only use cards where they have implemented 2FA in this type of scenario.
