    1440p Ultrawide GPU

Hi, I've just bough myself an ultrawide 144hz monitor which is great but I need a GPU to power it. I mostly play Battlefield games and I'm looking to spend around 300-350, what should I buy? I'm looking at second hand 5700 XT's as they seem like the best value but will we see prices drop when...

    Iiyama GB3466WQSU-B1 Curve (1500R) 34” 1440 144Hz VA panel FreeSync Premium Pro

I'm looking for an affordable curved ultrawide and this seems one of the best for the price. Does it suffer with smearing/ghosting? I'm still rocking my old BenQ XL2411t so this should be a nice upgrade.

    Spec me some cans

The PM-2's didn't seem too bad, I didn't listen to them for very long however. I have noticed a slight drop somewhere in the midrange, but I think they are fantastic. I made sure that I could return them to the shop if I wasn't impressed. They're staying, the more I listen to them, the more I...

    Spec me some cans

I did try the PM-2's, from what I remember they were good, didn't quite have that planar speed of the 400i's though, sounded closer to a dynamic driver. Thanks for your help guys. In the end, after trying a few at my local HP shop I bought the Focal Elears.

    Spec me some cans

I did take a look at those, this review put me off though. http://www.innerfidelity.com/content/survey-foster-443742-variants-subjective-listening-tests-denon-ah-d5000-massdrop-fostex-th#k6RvC7wekmefHg5X.97

    Spec me some cans

Yeah I think the Mojo is great, really enjoying it. See thats the problem, it's difficult to get correct information. I've spent hours on head fi reading tons of threads with little joy. I went with the Hifimans because of the great reviews but I find them very harsh and difficult to listen to...

    Spec me some cans

Yeah I heard heard quite a few say good things about the Oppo's, but one or two reviews says they can be a bit bass light. I'm going to have to go listen to some i think. The problem with the Fostex is that the planars they do are a too hard to drive for my baby amp (Chord Mojo). Cheers

    Spec me some cans

Hi I bought a set of Hifiman 400i's, i'm enjoying the planar sound but I find these a little too bright. Also being my first open cans I didn't realise exactly how much leakage you get from them. I'm finding that I can't turn them up because the mrs can't hear the tv, or I can hear the tv...

The Polaris RX 480 Owners Thread.

I'm looking to upgrade my old 7950, would this be a good choice? Game at 1080p, 144hz, mostly BF1. Will be paired with a 3770k. Thanks

    Who owns a 350z/370z?

I definitely miss the noise, mine has a cat back and sounds awesome. The 2zz in the lotus sounds like a sweing machine until you really rev it, but obviously it will never sound like the burble you get from the DE. Apart from that I don't miss anything, driving the elise is just a rush that you...

    Who owns a 350z/370z?

I have a 2005 350 that I am selling, i replaced it with an elise 111r. Very different cars, but it's a blast to drive, I couldn't be happier.

I found I only made gains on OHP during a proper bulk, when I was cutting I got so far and just couldn't improve. A few weeks into my bulk and I started to progress again. My last session I did 66kg for 5, 3 sets which I don't think is too bad as I weigh 66-67kg. I just takes time for those tiny...

Your weights are quite light, so it'd be good to get those up. For your compounds, every time you complete all of your sets with good form add 2.5kg to the bar next session. You should find your strength shoots up. I bought a bar from Strength shop, the ******* bar. Chuffed with it.

I started SL in August last year, and experienced the groin pain you are describing. Working a desk job for 10 years and not working out is what i put it down to. Anyway I quickly hit a wall when I got to around 50-60kg, I had to deload a few times and make sure i stretched on my non gym days...

During my cut I made sure I deloaded every 8-10 weeks, which seemed to work well. But I was a complete newb with newb gainz on my side. Now I'm lifting decent amounts for my body weight, I'm beginning think it is important (especially when natty, oh and getting on a bit) to schedule in...

Yes completely agree, i think that anyone lifting heavy OHP should ensure them glutes are tensed. See I just try and go by what my body is telling me, and now it's saying I need to rest. Not because my muscles are sore etc but I have a few minor nagging injuries that won't go away, eating...

Yeah I've seen Rippetoe's method of pushing your hips forward before you start the press, it's also to make the bar path as vertical as possible. It is difficult, I have now started to do it seated, I'll give it a month or so and go back to standing. I'm going to try and get a bit more volume in...

I did start by adding 100 cals a week, but after a few weeks I doubled that so went up 200 cals per week, I got a little bored to be honest. I would do it differently next time, now i have a better idea of where my numbers need to be. Your plan sounds fine, its all about learning your own body...
