Im not buying into the rumours just yet. I remember for ages before they were released, lots of people were spreading the rumour it was $299. Look how that turned out.
If it offers better price/performance than other offerings, then I will buy it. Probably not the top card though.
As always some fixes work for some and not for others.
As for the guy who said his FPS halved on far cry, I would suggest he has had a corrupt install or some other problem. Dont think Ive ever seen FPS half in a game due to a driver update.
My girlfriend at the time was working at Siemens when one of the guys there handed his notice in with intention to work for a rival company. Security was called and he was searched and frogmarched off the building lol.
On topic, AMD have good grounds for an apple style court case in the future :D
Batman was smooths as a babys bum on my gtx 570. These tests were probably done before the dx11 stutter patch that solved the stuttering. Some of these results are certainly questionable.
Its worth it for those at >1080p IMO compared to the 660TI.
All slightly overpriced compared to the AMD counterparts but thats brand recogniton, physx etc. Overall I think the prices have settled to roughly where they should be.
Your argument was totally incoherent mate. You were clearly talking about one set of graphs, (about WoW) then when someone pointed out you were exaggerating, you post a completely different graph of a different game (which bears no resemblence to a snake and a straight line), as if its some kind...
That looks like a straight line and a snake to you Gregster?
Maybe you should go here.

Yeah really thorough testing at lots of different (but mainstream) settings and resolutions, lots of games tested, very informative. Good job to the reviewers i say.
Speeding up while booting is normal, just letting you know that the fan is working.
Make sure you disable overdrive in the CCC if you want to overclock with trixx.
Well the 6xx stutter was different to this 'problem' with the 12.11 drivers, as it was actually noticed by consumers playing games. Ive not seen anybody on any forums complaining of stutterince since installing the 12.11's although ive not exactly been that active on forums recently.
Dont care about the price, its mental and I love it :D
Wont be buying one of course but I appreciate companies who push the limits with their products.
Not much to see here really is there?
Im sure the first nvidia 6xx mobile chips were based on fermi, looks like AMD are doing something similar :(
Was hoping the sea islands chips were announced but looks like i will have to wait.
Just a refresh to sell more chips to PC world shoppers...
