    Whose fault

Had to use the kids toy cars to work this out. I can see how it happened if it's the other cars rear wheel arch to back. Feels like they turned too late. With no witnesses I could see it being argued you cut the corner. So likely 50/50 as suggested

    Ant's, what really kill's them.

This. We get them real bad here. Each ant hill gets boiling water with washing up liquid. You will have to do this to each ant hill/mound. I started near the house and worked a section at a time last year. If they make it inside (like last week) bait station sorts them. Interestingly mine...

    Opinions on Car Change

I would personally, test drive a TTRS, even if out of budget now. It will give you clarity on the want to change, you will either want to and save up. Or get the niggles etc sorted on your car, which is what I expect may happen. Maybe get it a proper valet as well.

What "man jobs" have you done today?

That using a trowel for the chest freezer is epic. Very manly in my book. I jet washed the car and brought the brown bin back into the garden. Created a plan of what to do with the garden as well. ( Not fire sadly)

    Approved used Mazda NOT

Yeah, this thread does not surprise me, last time I went car shopping I was looking at a car and got there, alloys shot, very worn and scrubbed ditch finders. Was not even that old. A colleague had his X3 in for a service recently, someone was in for a quote for a scrape they had in the car...

    Sold Car Issues

It will be interesting to see if it gets a new MOT come MOT time, I suspect it will and he was just trying it on/buyers remorse. Can't see ebay being interested if it was sold outside of them, did the right thing in blocking him.

best 1.4 hatchback for under £3000

I like this suggestion... but advice anyone do their research on these engines, pretty sure they are the dual charged engines, turbo and super and reliability is..... questionable.

best 1.4 hatchback for under £3000

Oof the ancient 1.3, those engines were very old in 2001, the 1.25 was the more modern replacement, better engine. As a young driver I was named driver on 2004 1.4 clio, something like 40bhp on that fiesta! Nice little driver. Agree on the rust, my Focus' days are numbered. OP, I would be...

    New sofa

This is great advice, we did not get the foam for our dining room and they are basically destroyed. In laws said just get someone to fabricate new insides, looked at the cost, not far off what we paid for the sofa. Will likely just buy your link when that room is redecorated!

    This has freaked me out

Recently gave a friend a lift home. We chatted about outdated sat nav in cars and how you can get them updated etc. Next day that's what my adverts were for. He's to tight to ever pay for anything like that. It's not a conversation I've had with anyone else. It was also about his VAG car...

What "man jobs" have you done today?

I got most of the mud out the garage yesterday once the skip went. (Garden access is through the house and garage) Tidied and sorted tools so now have my DIY bench and electronics bench accessible. Then proceeded to fail to fix a 12v short on a Xbox one S. I'll get it though. I need to check...

    Chinese cars

I think a lot of the buyers of the likes of MG aren't bothered about rust proofing or necessarily longevity. They know they'll be getting rid of it it in the 7 year warranty period.

    Chinese cars

Read an interview from the MG re the 3. Trying to target some of the Fiesta sales now it's out of production. Seems a good angle to go for.
