Same problem here. Very frustrating. In the end I just turned probe off.
Tempted to actually uninstall it.
Very typical of asus bundled S/W to be a bit buggy.
Comes to whether the budget can stretch to two devices. But I like the idea of the ModMic being detachable for those times when I'm not gaming on-line.
Strange enough, I'm currently using a paid of Sennheiser HD590's (ancient I know, but still great sound reproduction). Trouble is these are...
I'd ideally like a set of speakers but space is very limited on my desk and I've always regarded the compact 2.1 speakers to be pretty poor. So I'm going down the headset route.
I'll use them for playing games and listening to music.
Can anyone recommend a decent headset with the following...
Just finished some testing on Unigine. I'm happy to settle with the following for a daily clock. When the card gets a bit older I might try and push it further.
MSI TF3
£180.00
77.8% ASCI
1200/5004Mhz
1.185V
71 degree C
ASUS boards are undedniably some of the better quality manufactured. The same can't be said for some of their other products.
P8Z77-V, bang for buck is brilliant as it also includes WiFi add-on card. Or ASROCK Z77 Extreme if you don't mind skimping on quality to save a little.
I'm looking for a reliable, quality iPhone parts supplier. Used eBay for a few parts but the last batch turned out to be faulty and I've noticed all the sellers seem to have negative feedback.

Review of Gigabyte card here:

Extra fan? I seem to think they both have two. Also I wouldn't consider default clocks as so easy to overclock yourself.
1100Mhz Core would be achievable I would think and when you consider the reference clock speed is 870Mhz that's still an impressive increase. Bit of testing required. The consensus is to use the Asus GPU Tweak mentioned in a few posts above this (I've personally not used TriXX so can't comment).
I returned my first card as it had a terrible sag on it, never seen a new GPU card like it. Furthermore it had a ASCI of 72.4% and wouldnt manage much above 1100Mhz. Stock voltage was 1.23V.
Now got a MSI TF3 with an ASCI of 77.8% and stock voltage of 1.138V but yet to run any benchmarks as...
Thanks Thomas. I've already got that tool installed but was just wondering whether it was possible to have AI Suite II display the GPU temp and consider this when setting fan RPM's in Fan Xpert etc.
Maybe I'm dreaming too much... :D
By then everything will be a cheaper such as life with PC components.
I got a small amount of artifacting with the following
GPU Clock: 1100Mhz
GPU Voltage: 1210mV
Mem: 4800
Should I dare pushing it anymore? Brand new MSI R7850.
