Crikey, I was going to recommend a 6700XT but have just seen the prices. The £299.99 plus Starfield deal that I got looks even better now.

I've been playing a 3440 x 1440 and have been pleasantly surprised trying to do it on a 6700 XT. I've heard FSR 2 looks better at higher resolutions and I think 1440p ultrawide is probably a nice target to shoot for, as you say, significantly fewer pixels but still high enough that FSR 2 looks good.

I haven’t seen my 6700 XT go over 200W since undervolting it. No outrageous heat or noise, either. Very happy with that.

I have installed mine with a single thus far. Have it undervolted to 1125mV and it draws 190W at max load. I’d promised myself I’d get the other cable down from the loft but I am starting to think I won’t bother.

The only reason for them to be confused is if they’re totally delusional. Their market share is at an all time low and people are just buying Nvidia without any consideration of AMD. If they want to change that, they need to give people a deal that’s too good to say no to.
