Can you just copy and paste to an email?
What format/app are they in? I use SMS Backup & Restore Pro for SMS messages.
I use copy and paste to an email for WhatsApp messages.
If I have WiFi Calling on I turn off the phone signal.
For a few days recently I was finding that many callers couldn't hear me although I could hear them but only with WiFi Calling on.
It turns out that the VPN DNS66 causes this problem. This or other VPNs might also cause other problems...
Just tried it on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ (Three Mobile so a slightly different code to get to the setting) with the same result, I can no longer extend the ring time.
However if I go into phone settings I have the option to disable 'Forward when unanswered' with the relevant voicemail number...
I bought an S6 Lite (2022) last week and in general I've been happy with it with the following 3 observations:
It does stutter occasionally when opening apps but not serious enough to put me off. This might disappear once it learns my usage pattern. I am also comparing it to my S6 which has a...
I've not been impressed with the Sennheiser Momentum True 3s. I bought 2 pairs in December. One pair I recently sent back to Amazon for repair because of persistent crackling in the right earbud and got refunded after having to make repeated requests because they lost them.
The other pair will...
I use an iPhone to change the number on the SIM (Settings>Phone>My Number then just type in the correct number in the format +44 XXXX XXXXXX, dropping the leading zero in the code). I don't know why Android doesn't also allow you to do it.
The latest fingerprint update has been sent out to some Samsung phones recently. If like me you haven't received it on a device and you're comfortable using ADB you can force the update notification through the ADB Command
adb shell cmd jobscheduler run -f com.samsung.android.tadownloader 4096...
Is anyone having problems with RWG Mobile? I have 2 SIMS one of which is on a £1 contract and both of them are showing as disconnected.
It must have been a temporary glitch, both are working normally now
The Note 4 was the first Samsung phone I owned and even today as a Note 10+ owner I still love all of mine. One is in use as a remote and another as a backup phone chucked in the bottom of my backpack.
There's a theme developing in the replies:)
If you can suggest a legitimate way of shipping Lithium batteries you can have 3 of my Note 4 ones that have been stored in the fridge and apart from being checked and topped up every couple of years are unused.
I use an old iPhone 4 to change the SIM number in mine. More recent iPhones have this option too so if you know someone with an iPhone it's easy to do.
I use the paid for version of Rocket Player, I tried many, including Poweramp, but found that Rocket Player is the best for me. There is a free version available.
My first was a Sony CM-H333 'Mars Bar', probably around 1993 which I still have somewhere. It cost £150, was with BT Cellnet on a £12 a month contract with calls costing 50p per minute.
Do you have Good Lock and/or Good Guardians installed? There's been a few major updates installed late yesterday in anticipation of OneUI 4 and Android 12 and it may be related to them. Note that QuickStar won't update or work from within Good Lock but you can long press to add a shortcut to the...
Samsung Health used to have annoying rolling ads until very recently but they seem to have been removed.
The main area where I see an ad is every time I go to the Galaxy Store with an ad for a game on every visit.
I don't recall seeing ads in other apps but I do use DNS66 (VPN) to block...
