I've left my monitor on all day whilst I've been out and there still isn't any light bleed from the usual place so far. And the first number after the last letter is 7 for my S/N
Mine has just arrived from OC. Not checked the manufacture date yet. I've can't see any dead pixels or light bleed at the minute, I did notice when I got it out there are a load of fingerprint marks on the screen which I know aren't mine as I was too worried about touching the screen after...
Yeah I got it sorted by getting a replacement card, not had a single issue since. Get in touch with the guys at Overclockers if you bought it from there, my replacement was delayed at Gigabytes end because of a lack of stock I'm assuming (Took nearly a month).
I've RMA'ed my Gigabyte 2080 Gaming OC.
Everything started off ok but after a while the PC would go past POST start loading windows then I'd be faced with a black screen this would happen with every cold boot. My USB devices would have no power going to them and I would hear the USB disconnect...
I've had to RMA my Gigabyte 2080 because of the black screen issue. Thankfully I bought it off Overclockers so Bailey sorted my RMA out quickly and it's now been sent on to Gigabyte for repair.
Hopefully it'll all be good when I get it back.
I hadn't seen that F10 was released. All installed and everything appears to be fine atm.
Strangely it worked on 1803 before the October update with F8, then I've gone back to 1803 and it's stopped working.
Thanks for the help gents, hopefully this it solved.
Currently on F8. I've stripped down my pc again and reseated everything I can now get into windows without any graphics drivers installed for the 2080. As soon as I install the drivers for the card I get a black screen, if I reboot I get a black screen unless I go into safe mode.
Going to see if a local computer shop will do me a favour and throw it into their system to check it (all my mates are console gamers so no luck there). PSU really shouldn't be the issue as it's only a week old and bought since I had the trouble with the 2080. Should be ok putting the gpu in...
Well now the 970 doesn't appear to be working either. I can get into Windows fine but then I'll get a random black screen followed by the sound of a USB device being connected or disconnected. The black screen is also triggered if I run the Userbenchmark.exe (when it gets to the bit where it...

I've started to have a similar issue to this with a newer build, everything working fine before installing my rtx 2080.
From a cold boot when the pc has been off over night everything spins up and seems OK but monitor displays a black screen, I have to go through recovery and launch windows that...
