i probably could have worded it better. i mean the connections from a patch panel to switch, which is then connected to the router. rather than having a cable ended directly connected to the router

old pc (maybe even your home assistant) + frigate look at go2rtc as well (built into Frigate now) to do multiple broadcasts hikvision do some nvr that can be had for cheap

Although not wrong, their night colour vision is lacking on RLC-811a. The CX410 is miles ahead of it, and the new CX810 should hopefully address this. I just saw a post on reddit, and it seems it wont be out of until next year so no point of holding off until them

Can't deny what you said, however the new one has true colour night vision like cx410, which would go against hikvision colourful or dahua darkfigter
