    Me too, with the cables hanging out with no side panel on, no a pretty sight :cry: I did consider going vertical to get the panel back on and use the ugly cable.

    I would have normally, but the last two years have got the better of me. Ie losing both parents in 6 months. working in Guernsey for five months with out coming home. Only myself to blame to be fair, but i think coil whine is fault imho, weather low, mid or high end. Looking on asus site bragging...

    I agree, i am going to be using the seasonic 90deg cable when its available. If it melts, will they both worm there way out of any claim.

    You’d think he would, as I’ve probably spend over 20k in the last 12 years. But that’s chicken feed to some of the customers.

    Yeh that’s how it sounds to me. I think if they said send it in, they would say the same, can not hear it. So I’ll just put up with it. It should defo be classed as a fault, Lots of people reporting zero coil whine on theirs cards.

    I think the psu manufactures are better qualified to get the power to the card. Major cop out by board partners and ultimately nvidia for reinventing a crap new standard…

    Like i said in my opening post,i had it 2 days then was working out of the country till may. In my mind it is faulty, as i can not play on rdr2 its that high pitched and hear it over the speakers...

    I snoozed and lost, was going to waterblock it since i have spent thousands on wc gear to make the pc silent. Not much point now, just stuck with a 2K lemon, oh well :(
