Is there such thing as a quiet mechanical keyboard? The loud sounds they make really put me off of them.

To be fair, I've had no issues with my current Asus. It had minor backlight bleed to begin with 3 years ago which weirdly, has disappeared over time.

I imagine 3440x1440 instead of 2560x1440 requires quite a bit more GPU power to run. Out of all the ones I've seen, my preference is the Acer XB271HU. From what I've read, the Asus PG269Q has worse quality control issues, it costs over £100.00 more and has the same panel as the Acer. With that...

I quite like the idea of a curved monitor but not too keen on ultra wide. I think that's what it has come down to. Heading more towards the Acer as reviews seem to suggest it has better quality control over the Asus

I've just purchased a GTX 1080 so need to upgrade my monitor as it's only 1080p @ 60hz. My preference is a 27" IPS with 2560 x 1440 @ 144hz. G-Sync too if that's recommended, not sure if needed or not. Don't care about the aesthetics of it, just want a good quality panel.

The i7 isn't better for gaming than the i5 so I'm lead to believe? If I changed i7 to i5 that saves me £70.00. Could that £70.00 improve any thing else? I think I prefer GTX 780 over R9 290. Is that motherboard/cooler better than the others listed? Thanks.
