Eggy smell coming from PC? PSU?

Electrician here, Two smells to watch out for. 1) Fishy, This is caused by the release of amides from the heat decomposition of modern electrical insulators & older components like Strip light ballasts. 2) Sulpherous, (Hydrogen sulphide AKA sink bomb) decomposition of glues, pvc insulations...

360 AIO cooler Bodge, works quite well

Just chopped the whole rear hole punched fan mount out with a pair of side cutters & protected the jagged edges with some sliced 5mm clear tubing. Total Ghetto But seems to work for UK matching hardware #1 slot (5th worldwide) & ive not even tuned it yet

    Show us your GPU/s.

Excuse the unfinished state, I had to rip out my old 3080 from a rig that died on Sunday, panic buy new guts, & then try to get it all in a case that was given to me after sitting in the shed in the shed for a year.

360 AIO cooler Bodge, works quite well

many will say, God thats ugly! But I needed a quick solution to get a 360 cooler into / onto a case that is not designed to mount one. (from a performance temps perspective, It now performs better than being inside the case as its always using mostly fresh air & not whats in the case) Extra...

    Water chiller project

thats the idea of having the rad unit in the sealed case heat pumping the thermals out, soon air tight it...just shrink wrap it............looking pretty is not on my list of priorities, prime metric...performance

    Water chiller project

Or going utterly bat**** crazy brain storming................air seal the case & fill it with welding nitrogen / inert gas atmosphere!!!!!!!! semi expensive i know but with only needing a occasional possitive pressure top up to keep outside air ...well out....................probably cost less...

    Water chiller project

EG...my room ambient ATM is 18.9C, 55% relative humidity.....with some decent controls wired in, could safely chill down to about 10 deg C before having to worry about condensation, middle of summer however when its 30-35C & 95% humidity.....not going to be able to cool it at all

    Water chiller project

well thats what I'm trying to suss out next, have thought about air sealed case & a load of desicant added in, or maybe using the rad + fan inside the case to act as a dehumidifier & draw out said air moisture & add a drain out tube from a condensation tray ( like a aircon split system etc)...

    Dew point anti condensation tips

Ok tinkerers............my question is, what nuggets of wisdom are out there for combating this issue. I've cobbled together the basic guts of a water cooler + chiller system that will drop a cpu cold plate down to sub zero temps (gotta love Generator glycol based coolant). the problem is, I...
