It's poor to remain silent though, especially as money has already been taken. Never had that on a preorder before, only ever taken on dispatch.

I ordered a 3900x from somewhere else when it was saying 7 day delivery, its due for delivery this weekend but I'm expecting it to get delayed. Wish OC would give us some info as they have taken the money already. *** Competitor info removed ***

Annoying that the money has already been taken too, usually they should only take the money on despatch. Was Friday, then today, now looking later. I only ordered a week ago so probably miles down the preorder list.

That's annoying as it being due today was the reason for choosing OC over other suppliers with due date of Monday/Tuesday

I would imagine they are flat out with getting orders processed, which is a good thing. Wish the 3900X page would get updated though! Other suppliers are saying Monday/Tuesday for stock.

Thank you. If 4 sticks are acceptable then, any other kits you'd recommend? There's plenty of choice I'm just stuck for which one! What about the corsair lpx series, or even the dominator platinum? Also no mention of GSkill, no go?

Sadly that's a little too steep at £400 for the 32gb too. With regards to getting a higher speed set, 3200mhz for example. Would it still run fine at a lower speed, or would it just not work at all? I know this would be wasted money buying higher speed memory to run at a lower speed, but...

Thanks I've removed the link. Is it ok to run 4 sticks with ryzen? People seemed to say to stick to 2 sticks. I don't mind a bit of tweaking and overclocking, but as it's used for some work it needs to still be reliable.

No unfortunately, got a partial refund in the end from OCUK, so lost money from a faulty monitor. Back to 27" 1440p for now.
