Monochrome works so well with super clean hard-line builds, looks great!

Rethreading to M4 probably would have been the best option, I needed weird lengths as they had to go through acrylic > fans > rad, so the standard ones were too short. Ended up having to buy longer ones, cut them down to the correct size and then paint them black. Quite annoying when there's 40...

Just wish XSPC used these instead of the stupid 6-32 UNC threads. Was a nightmare finding screws the correct size for their rads and would put me off ever using them again.

Unfortunately you would need all new fittings if you're switching from soft tubing to hard, it shouldn't be too expensive though if you already have the block, rad, reservoir and pump. The only other expenses to bear in mind would be a bending kit (unless of course you plan on doing straight...

I use an Aquaero and an inline temperature sensor to control the fans off the water temp. It's a lot more stable than CPU or GPU temps so will very gradually increase / decrease fan speeds to suit the ambient temperature & combined load without annoying bursts of speed / noise.
