Been doing some OC'ing this morning with my FE. Able to hit a stable 2047mhz at 70% fan speed and 105% power with +120 on the memory. There is definitely a little more headroom in there, but the fan is not acceptable to me above 55-60 so I've backed it down to 2000mhz. Can't wait to slap the ek...

I'd say the silicon lottery is having the biggest impact this generation, not the pre-set clocks. Hence why some retailers are having to release non-oc versions as they can't stabilise them. I've seen FE get to 2100 and Msi Twin Frozr only 1950. The pre-set clocks don't guarantee a big boost...

The original estimate was late June/early July, after the Classified's. I've seen that estimate in many places around launch including here and on the EVGA forums. I'm not gonna go through this whole thread to prove it but late July was definitely not the original ETA.

It does look like there are more 1070's, the Nvidia store has had them in stock since launch.

They take the money when it's dispatched if you use the pay through Amazon option. All the others take money straight away.
