Anyone claiming that you only pay for the brand name on a mouse pad has never tried a decent pad. There's a huge range of different surfaces out there, not to mention a difference in quality.
Vaxee, Zowie and Logitech (assuming you don't get double clicking switches). Razer if you don't mind optical switches.
Endgame Gear XM1R is a good mouse too.
I'm using Durock L1 Creamy Yellows atm. Pretty light linears, but not quite as light as Reds. Lubed with Krytox 205g0 plus filmed.
Have some Tecsee Neapolitan tactiles on the way to try out but my experience with tactiles isn't the best. But then, that's scratchy Cherry MX browns so maybe I'll...
Yeah, I have a set of the HK sub dye caps and they are pretty very good for the price. And they come with tonnes of keys for different layouts and sizes.
They have a lot more sets in the works and coming out in the next couple of months too.
Yeah the HK caps are nice, a lot better than any stock keycaps I've had on any prebuilt boards. Hard to justify some of the group buy prices when they exist.
