yes if using a dedicated streamer you'll need two remotes/two apps, or a single programmable universal remote. Phone for universal "for all" is terrible experience. Even if there was a app that controlled everything it'll still be horrid (no hard buttons) Other benefits of dedicated streamer...

No. As for op get a higher quality center speaker. I don't have any issues about hearing speech on mine apart from Nolan mixes. I use a decent three way center. What specific movie is it, what scene in the movie runtime etc.

Don't even bother! Get the matching Triangle center Minx is such a poor speaker and downgrade over using your Triangle in phantom center mode.
